You would forgive for not being able to stop teasing their new SUV. It’s their first time launching a car like this, you know, and they have the right to be a bit giddy. They have just dropped yet another Jaguar F-Pace preview which, hopefully, will be the last one prior to the car’s official IAA debut.
Based on the C-X17 concept car and boasting the firm’s advanced Lightweight Aluminium Architecture, Jaguar F-Pace is a luxury SUV that promises new levels of refinement and capabilities, both on and off the road. JLR is in a good position these days to make such a thing, since they have the F-Type’s goodies to use for the dynamic parts of the SUV and Land Rover’s excellent Terrain Response to take care of the off-road bits.
The all-new Jaguar F-Pace will be joined on the Frankfurt show stand by the new 2016 Jaguar XJ, Jaguar XE, and the all-new XF.
“2015 is the 80th anniversary of Jaguar Cars and it has been a monumental year of transformation for the brand,” said Kevin Stride, Jaguar Land Rover Vehicle Line Director. “First, with the introduction of the innovative Jaguar XE and followed closely by the all-new XF. Today is a proud moment for Jaguar as we launch the F-PACE, our first compact luxury SUV.”
