One of the coolest parts of every new Ferrari is their engine, and not just because they make a boatload of power. Ferrari has as way of making the technology that creates that power look so cool and fascinating. Here we take a look at the V12 engine in the new Ferrari F12tdf and would you just look at those trumpets? Aren’t they awesome?
The engine in the Ferrari F12tdf, as we have mentioned before, develops 40 more horsepower than the F12 Berlinetta’s. That has been achieved through the use of race-inspired mechanical tappets and variable-geometry intake trumpets used on Formula 1 cars which help boost volumetric efficiency at high revs.
