Following the huge buzz Ferrari created in the auto world with the new special edition F12tdf, designer E.Milano decided to seize the moment and penned an open-top version which the subject is still hot. This is what Ferrari F12tdf Aperta would look like if they go ahead and make it.
Ferrari F12tdf Aperta actually has a very good chance of happening. Granted, it would be a special edition of a special edition, already pushed to the max in terms of design and performance and price. But as you know the F12tdf is being produced in 799 copies which is a lot by Ferrari’s standards. They have made open-top versions of much more limited models in the past, so why not this time.
And the Aperta treatment suits the F12 really well. We never got a F12 Roadster, so it would be great if they actually made the Ferrari F12tdf Aperta. As for the roof arrangement, the way Milano has rendered the car, it should be a soft top. But as we know from previous Apertas and convertible Ferraris, they much prefer a folding carbon fiber unit. Technical details of the car should remain the same as the hardtop tdf.
