Well, it seems that almost all 500 units of McLaren 675LT Coupe have been bought by exotic car dealers. We just looked at Dimmitt Automotive’s LongTail, now check out one delivered recently to Driving Emotions Motorcar. This one’s a little bit more special though, since it is fitted with a few nice MSO options.
Now if you don’t know what is MSO, the letters stand for McLaren Special Operations and it is a department specializing in creating one-offs and celebratory models, as well as fulfilling customers’ dreams in terms of options, colors, and accessories. They have fitted this white McLaren 675LT with a roll cage, special orange leather seats, P1-style matte black wheels, orange brake calipers, and orange stitching on the dashboard and around the black Alcantara.
In terms of hardware, McLaren 675LT MSO is powered by the same 675 PS version of the firm’s famous 3.8 liter bi-turbo V8 engine. We reckon they can hook you up with a power upgrade for the engine is you ask – and come up with a fat enough check – but to be honest 675 seems like a pretty damn good number in a car that is 100 kg lighter than a 650S. What’s more, McLaren has a habit of saving these upgrades for the next iteration of a specific model rather than doling them out to special editions.
