A while ago we saw a Porsche 991 GT3 with its rear wing taken off, and it looked terrible to tell you the truth. Turns out removing the wing has an even more catastrophic effect on that car’s big brother, Porsche 991 GT3 RS, as you can see with this Ultraviolet example.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS has much fatter fenders than the ordinary 911 and it features different bumpers, aero parts, and air intakes. The standard rear wing is something that sort of ties up all these parts together and gives the car the proper look of a road-going racing machine. But it’s designed as a package, which is why if you omit one of its features, the whole thing just falls apart.
But do not despair. The owner of this Porsche 911 GT3 RS has not done this out of spite, or for a laugh. He decided his RS would look better is the struts of the rear wing were painted matte black instead of the stock silver. Black, after all, goes much better with purple. Here’s a walk-around video of the car with its newly painted spoiler struts.
