Bentley too wants a piece of the media frenzy that is the Consumer Electronics Show 2016 in Las Vegas. They have teamed up with electronic giant Monster for this purpose and presented at the show the Bentley Continental GT Monster by Mulliner, featuring a kickass audio system.
This is not a concept or a show piece. Bentley Continental GT Monster is a limited edition production model they say is designed to appeal to young professional athletes and musicians – presumably because only those guys can afford it. The bespoke custom sound system in this car features 16 hand selected Monster speakers, personally tuned by Head Monster Noel Lee, with a 3,400-watt output.
But it’s just the sound that makes the Bentley Continental GT Monster an interesting proposition. Mulliner has made sure the car also looks and feels exclusive on other levels other than acoustical. Based on the V8 S model, the vehicle comes with red and black interior featuring Beluga hide and steering rim, a unique 3D laser-etched fascia panel designed inspired by Monster logo, unique headrest embroidery, and a pair of Monster’s Newest 24K gold wireless headphone. The exterior is finished in Onyx black and gets Hotspur accents including a unique body kit and radiator shell bezel.
Head Monster Noel Lee noted: “Monster is proud to collaborate with Bentley on bringing the sound and look of a Monster ride to those who want something bold and different. With our Pure Monster Sound system, the drive will be truly incredible and brings a new level of excitement to the driving experience. That’s why this collaboration for the Continental GT V8 S is such a perfect fit. Our Monster motto ‘Always Lead Never Follow’ has never been more appropriately applied than in association with this impeccably designed automobile.”
