The feud between the latest versions of Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette is kind of like 50 Cent’s beef with Ja Rule. It goes away, then it comes back, and nobody really cares. If you like the new Dodge Viper ACR, you’re gonna get it. And if you think Corvette Z06 is just better, no one can convince you otherwise.
Still, it is always fun to see two titans slug it out even if it doesn’t really settle anything. So let’s join the Motor Trend boys as they stage a fight between the 2015 Corvette Z06 and 2016 Dodge Viper ACR. Get some popcorn and hit play:
As a recap, the Viper ACR is powered by a 640 horsepower 8.4 liter V10 engine and features race-spec aero kit, suspension, brakes and traction control. The Z06, meanwhile, has a supercharged V8 engine with around 650 horsepower and some seriously advanced drivetrain technologies.
