Yep, it’s yet another special edition Chevy pickup truck, but it’s a good one. The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Edition has a lot of city attitude, what with its dark theme and all, for a truck they say is inspired by the outdoors.
The main highlights of Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Edition on the outside include special blackout trim, black bow ties, off-road assist steps and black 20” wheels with all-terrain tires, as well as camo graphics and the Realtree logos. The logos are also embroidered on the front-seat headrests inside the cabin.
Based on the Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 crew cab, Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Edition also get the Z71 off-road package featuring Rancho monotube shocks, Hill Decent Control, an underbody shield and the G80 auto locking rear differential. So it should be as capable in action as its looks would lead you to believe.
“The capability of Chevy trucks has always enabled customers to go where they want to go and that’s the inspiration for the new Silverado Realtree Edition,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Truck Marketing. “Personalized for the outdoorsman, this great-looking, very capable Silverado offers another choice for customers looking for a truck with style, capability and dependability.”
