Jaguar Land Rover is kicking off the new year with the launch of a special edition of their award-winning sports car, the F-Type. Designed to celebrate the excellence of British design and engineering, this model is called Jaguar F-Type British Design Edition.
The name’s a mouthful, but then this is a lot of car. Available in Coupe and Convertible body styles, Jaguar F-Type British Design Edition comes with a range of exterior and interior appointments that set it apart from the standard versions. Engine-wise, though, you can only have it with the 380 PS unit out of the V6S variant, mated to an eight-speed Quickshift transmission with all-wheel drive. That’s the best engine of the lot, anyway.
As for the exclusive visual features, they begin with the exterior color option which include Caldera Red, Glacier White, Ultra Blue and Ultimate Black, complemented with Sport Design Pack, red brake calipers and 20-inch Cyclone wheels with unique Satin Dark Grey finish. As for the interior, the car features Jet premium leather with contrast stitching in Red, Ivory or Reims Blue, as well as British Design Edition badging front and rear plus headrest embroidery and sating carbon trims.
Priced from £75,225 for Coupe version and £80,390 for Convertible, Jaguar F-Type British Design Edition comes as standard with 380W Meridian Sound System or optional 770W Meridian surround sound system and InControl Remote App system that syncs with your Apple Watch.
