Corkscrew Nearly Screws a McLaren P1 GTR!

McLaren P1 GTR corkscrew 600x343 at Corkscrew Nearly Screws a McLaren P1 GTR!

Every petrolhead in the world worthy of the name is familiar with the fearsome Corkscrew corner of the famed Laguna Seca circuit. The unforgiving, difficult, and extremely exciting downhill corner nearly claimed a McLaren P1 GTR a couple of days ago as the car took it on too vigorously and failed to cope.

The near accident took place during a McLaren P1 GTR private track event at Laguna Seca, and the funny thing about it is that it wasn’t one of the rich, clueless clients making the mistake, but rather one of the professional instructors who was trying to set a lap time for the rich, clueless clients to try and match.
