Any major motor show you visit, McLaren stand is always the classiest. The 2016 Geneva Motor Show was no exception, especially as they brought along BBC’s Kate Silverton to host their press conference and unveiling event. During this event they took the wraps off three superb new models.
Well, one was newer than the other two, but the oldies were more exciting. The new model was the McLaren 570GT, a more practical version of the 570S with a larger boot, while the not-so-new models included a full carbon fiber P1 and a MSO version of the 675LT Spider.
The debut of the McLaren 675LT Spider, in both regular and MSO flavors, was a pointless thing really, seeing as the car is already sold out. So what McLaren has done here is getting people worked up about a car they can’t buy anymore. Well, they can, but they’re going to have to pay a whole lot more to third-party dealers for it. The same goes for the carbon fiber P1 hyper car which is these days commanding prices over a million dollars above the original MSRP.
