In one of his wildest renderings, designer Rain Prisk has come up with a unique 964-based Porsche 911 Speedster. This utterly amazing, but admittedly unrealistic, proposition goes to show what can be achieved when there are no rules and boundaries.
Prisk’s Porsche 911 Speedster features every single extreme modification you can think of for such a treatment, from chopped windscreen, to custom body kit, to slammed ride height, and yes, massively flared wheel arches. The designer has managed to achieve an excellent Speedster look with the windscreen and that hump on the back, and then emphasized on it by buffing up the fenders and bolting up some properly fat wheels under the car.
Our imaginary Porsche 911 Speedster Wide Body here also comes with custom bumpers complete with aero parts and air suspension and many other unseen modifications. Since it’s fair game, we are going to go ahead and propose our own powertrain for it. It would be the 4.0 liter flat-six out of a GT3 RS, boosted by a couple of huge turbochargers and a trick exhaust system. And we’re hooking it up to a manual gearbox. And no traction control!
