A few weeks ago McLaren announced the launch of a new racing version of the 570S, or Sports Series, which comes in two variants. We have the McLaren 570S GT4 designed for FIA GT series, and we have the Sprint version which is a toned-down version of the same thing for private users.

Here we get to see the former, McLaren 570S GT4, flexing its muscles on the race track and showing off its cool looks. That aero kit could inspire some seriously hot aero kits for the road going version:

McLaren 570S GT4 shares a lot of its underpinnings with the production model. It has the same carbon fibre Monocell II chassis, twin-turbo V8 and seven-speed transmission, but the GT4 is lighter, boasts a new wide body stretched over magnesium alloy wheels and Pirelli slick tyres, with a GT4-spec aero package including a high-level rear wing, and it is priced from £159,900. The GT4 will be entered in this year’s British GT Championship by McLaren GT, contesting the full nine-round calendar.
