As we have said time and again, there is still a lot of life left in the 997 generation of the Porsche 911, and now the guys from Mcchip-DKR have proven us right by upgrading a Turbo variant of this model. Mcchip Porsche 997 Turbo is one of the hottest 911s on the face of the earth.

Of course, all Porsche 911s have great potential for modification and upgrade, but Mcchip Porsche 997 Turbo sets the bar so high, it is going to take the current 991 generation a while to reach that level. The tuner started out with a stock 480 horsepower 3.6 liter Turbo 997 and after some deep, proper, stage 3 performance upgrades boosted its output to a colossal 657 horsepower with 810 Nm of torque (stock 620 Nm).

The extra oomph has been achieved by employing some meaty TTH700 turbochargers as well a bespoke software for the engine control unit. That means there is still the exhaust upgrade to be added to the mix, so this could easily be a 700 PS car. But even as it is, Mcchip Porsche 997 Turbo is more powerful than the hottest variants of the 991 and even most tuned versions of it. And the coolest thing is, it costs less than all of them.
