More than the racing itself, the Ferrari Challenge racing series is an excuse for Ferrari owners to get together, have a little drive on the race track and admire one another’s cars. As such, the biggest attraction of Ferrari Challenge at the Circuit of The Americas in Texas was not the race but the car show that formed around it.

That doesn’t mean the competition lacked excitement, but you will agree when there are more than a couple LaFerraris around nobody’s really going to pay attention to anything else. Even if someone did manage to divert his attention at COTA’s Ferrari Challenge, they would immediately get distracted by the likes of Enzo, FXX, F12tdf, 488 GTB, 599 GTO, and…
