One of the coolest motoring event of 2016 will be, without a shadow of doubt, The Classic & Sports Car Show, to be held at Alexandra Palace, London from 28th to 30th October. It is a remarkable event not just because of its superb lineup of vintage cars, but also because during this event the greatest supercar of the last 100 years will be named.

The Classic & Sports Car Show 2016 will name the greatest supercar of the past century through ‘A Century of Supercars’ sideshow, a global poll to name the greatest supercar of all time. So the car that wins it is going to be recognized the world over as the greatest automobile of all time and I don’t know, but as far as accolades go, that’s quite a big one. Of course all the names you would expect to see in a “supercar of the century” event will be on display at the show, with the top contenders for title being Mercedes 60hp, Alfa Romeo 8C 2900, Metallurgique Maybach, Ferrari 250GT SWB, Ferrari F40 and Bugatti Veyron. You will find a shortlist of all the contenders after the photos:
