After successfully crapping all over the incredible Benghazi story with his 13 Hours flick, director Michael Bay has now gone back to an old project more suitable to his wits. He’s putting together yet another Transformers movie and he’s just revealed the movie’s main attraction, the new Bumblebee Camaro.
Playing the lead car role in the upcoming “Transformers: The Last Knight,” the new Bumblebee Camaro is a custom-built version of the 2016 Camaro featuring a whole new front-end and an absolutely massive aero kit. Sure enough, the two-tone black and yellow paint work is present and correct.
Because of the size of the canards and spoilers on this Bumblebee Camaro we have a sneaking suspicion that, once “transformed”, the thing will turn into a much sicker robot monster than the previous iterations. That’s cool, we just hope it won’t inspire copy cat body kit. Before you know it people are going to be driving around in Camaros with a snowplough for front spoiler.
The Last Knight is set for release on June 23, 2017, continuing an immensely successful franchise that has enabled Bay to secure pictures he had no business working on, such as 13 Hours. Seriously, we can’t get over how bad it was. They should have given that one to Ridley Scott, let Bay stick with robots and preposterous plots.
