The world of limited edition Ferraris is a peculiar one. From the multi-million dollar XX cars that you can’t take home with you, to the one-offs and the lightly modified versions of the standard cars that cost ten times as much, the Italians continue to baffle us with their marketing genius. The latest example is this 2011 Ferrari 599 Aperta, on sale no at an eye-watering $1.6 million USD!
Now, that is a helluva lot of money. And it can buy you some seriously hot cars, plus a big mansion to accommodate them. Who in their right mind would think it’s good deal to blow that kind of cash on a car which, at the end of the day, is a 599? To put this in perspective, a regular non-Aperta 599 of the same period costs around 200 grand.
All that said, Ferrari 599 Aperta, or SA Aperta to be precise, is a limited edition of only 80 copies, and that in the world of special Ferraris means gold. We say nobody would pay that kind of money for this car, but already there have been seven inquiries about it. These Ferraris are proving to be a safer investment than real estate, stock market, diamonds even.
So if you are interested in this open-top, fully-loaded, Bianco Avus Ferrari 599 Aperta with Nero interior, head over to Ferrari Newport Beach and get it before someone else snatches it up.
