Back in 2010 Porsche released a sort of ‘Greatest Hits’ version of the 911 featuring the very best of design features from all the previous generations. That car, called Porsche 911 Sport Classic, was based on the 997 series. Now we have found a rendering that could be what a 991-based Sport Classic would look like should Porsche decide to make one.

Penned by our new favorite rendering artist Miletic Design, this “Vintage Design” 911 is based on a 991 Carrera S to which the designer has added a number of highlights from other 911 variants. The color scheme with the green wheels and stickers is borrowed from the 997 GT3 RS, while the ducktail spoiler and the Fuchs wheels seem to be lifted straight from the original Porsche 911 Sport Classic, which means it can trace its roots to the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7.

All of this is applied to a C2S with a nice aero kit and central twin tailpipes to create an amazing looking 911 we would give our left leg to own… providing it’s an automatic because, you know, we won’t have a left leg to work the clutch with.

At any rate, if there is a new Porsche 911 Sport Classic in the pipeline, and we sincerely hope there is, this is what it may look like. Such a car would also feature a vintage-inspired interior with tartan cloth and Espresso Nature leather seats, a vintage looking SportChrono clock, and numerous badges letting you it’s a special product. There’ll be no need for a performance upgrade, as the standard C2S is pretty satisfying in that aspect what with 430 turbocharged horses under the hood.
