Lamborghini Centenario Roadster or LaFerrari Aperta?

So Ferrari finally unveiled the LaFerrari Spider we’ve all been waiting to see and they’re calling it, in true Ferrari fashion, Aperta. Thing is, that car is not the only open-top Italian hyper car coming out over the next two years. There is also this, the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster.

This is a rendering – a very good one – of what Lamborghini Centenario Roadster might look like when it’s ready to be released. And as it’s always the case with open-top Lambos, it looks cooler, prettier, and just more fun than its hardtop counterpart. Trouble with this one is that it’s probably going to cost even dearer than the $3 million hardtop.

That has to be what LaFerrari Aperta has cost those few who have ordered it. And although the Ferrari is a better driver’s car — 960 hp against 770 hp, rear-wheel-drive against all-wheel-drive, and electric boost against nothing — we reckon if you want to get the most fun for your three and a bit million dollars, you should go with the Lambo. Mind you, both of these cars are already sold out and if you want one you’re going to have to wait until they become available through third-party dealers. By then you’ll probably have to pay more like 4 or 5 million dollars for one, but hey, it’s just money!
