As we have said before, we never thought the day would come when we’d get all excited about the launch of a new Skoda. But that has happened with the new Skoda Kodiaq, a mysterious and supposedly handsome crossover that has captured the imagination of car bloggers everywhere for a few months now.
So far we have seen official rendering of Skoda Kodiaq and pictures of it in camouflage doing some testing. Now in a rather generous move the Czech company has released full photos of the interior of the car, revealing, it has to be said, a strong Volkswagen influence. That’s a good thing, because it means you get VW design and quality for Skoda money.
Among the main highlights of the interior of Skoda Kodiaq, which will be available as a seven-seater, there is all the vertical design elements such as the four large air inlets, wide main screen, longitudinally adjustable reclining seats, and cargo volume of 720 to 2,065 liters. Notable options include a heated steering wheel and more than 30 ‘Simply Clever’ solutions, such as the door edge protection, electric child safety locks and sleep headrests.
A full reveal of the Kodiaq will take place tomorrow in Berlin.
