Rolls-Royce took to this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with a very special Bespoke model. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Beverly Hills Edition has a self-explanatory name as to why it was built, but the specs are still pretty amazing, even by RR Bespoke standards.
They have painted the one-off Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Beverly Hills Edition in, one would imagine, the same color the housewives of Beverly Hills like for their skin, which is metallic orange. On the car this unique shade of orange is complemented with orange metallic wheel centers, matte finished bonnet, and polished steel accents around the doors and the rear deck.
Inside the cabin Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Beverly Hills Edition does a good job of reflecting the “Southern Californian lifestyle” with hand-stitched Mandarin leather in black and orange complete with contrast stitching, garnished with a healthy dose of polished Piano Black veneers. So for once there is no wood work in a Roller, which is odd since this special version is sort of an homage to the Pacific Coast, so you’d think it should have been the most yacht-like of them all.
At any rate, this Bespoke Drophead Coupe seems to have captured the spirit of Beverly Hills lifestyle spot on. It has the same chintzy, glitzy air as most of 90210 residents.
