Ford GT Prototype Sighted in Spec Ops Outfit

While most car makers have taken these days to covering their test mules and prototypes in fairly gay camouflage patterns, the new Ford GT hits the roads in the latest series of road tests wearing a matte military green paint job that makes the car look like a Green Beret in full Operator mode about to raise some serious hell.

Those are not headlights but NVGs, that sloping roof the Kevlar helmet, the black wheels its tactical boots, and those fat twin exhausts out back a pair of M203 grenade launchers!

Of course, the reason Ford GT does not cover itself properly while out testing is because everybody knows what it looks like and it would be pointless to hide. Still, we really hope Ford offers this cool shade of green as a factory color for the GT because it just suits it so well.
