McLaren Automotive took to Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille show to reveal their latest MSO concept, a special version of the 570GT finished in a cool new paint job called Pacific Blue. This McLaren 570GT MSO showcases the options provided for customization of the car by firm’s ‘Defined’ program.
The first European example of this model to feature a bespoke specification, the Pacific Blue McLaren 570GT MSO comes with special carbon fiber interior trim with a satin lacquer finish and gloss-lacquered MSO Defined carbon sills. Outside, the side skirt, the front and rear ends and the door inserts are given a MSO Piano black finish and under the bonnet there is an exhaust manufactured from titanium which is 30% lighter than the standard system and comes with heat shields in a golden titanium nitride tin, which change color to blue and purple as the system heats and cools.
The McLaren 570GT MSO Concept was part of Concept parade at Chantilly Arts & Elegance show which tries to “bring back the elegance of the 1920’s when manufacturers and fashion houses joined forces to showcase the future of the motor car and couture.” For this event McLaren decided to pair up with avant-garde fashion house, Jean-Paul Gaultier.
