If you are wondering what’s with Honda and releasing so many new Civics, you have to take into account that there are two Civic branches, one for America and one for Europe, and they each have different sedan, coupe and hatchback variants. What you will see at the 2016 Paris Motor Show is a new Euro-model Honda Civic Hatchback.
Scheduled to go on sale continent-wide in early 2017, the new Honda Civic Hatchback Euro-spec does not come with any revolutionary features compared to the current version, but it looks fresh enough inside and out to warrant to a global premiere at the event with some pomp and circumstance. Judging by the teaser photo, though, the looks are still pretty busy and way too Samurai to have mass appeal.
Besides the new Honda Civic Hatchback the company will reveal at the Paris show a special little super mini called the Jazz Spotlight Edition. Continuing the success of other special editions like Jazz Keenlight, this one also is for the European market, except UK, and comes with bronze front grille decoration, door mirror decoration, decals along the flank of the car, unique 15” alloy wheels, tailgate decoration, steering wheel and center console treatment.
