Turns out the demand for road-legal McLaren P1 GTR models is a lot higher than anybody thought when these things first started to appear under the radar. I mean, hell, they keep going like this, soon there will more GTRs on the streets than Toyota Camrys. This is another one offered for sale by a Dutch dealer, and it can be yours for the princely sum of $4.3 million.

And just so you know, but a month ago a road-legal McLaren P1 GTR used to run for around $3.5 million. So is if you want one of these, you better focus and earn through one of the side hustles or by this time next week the damn thing to go past the six million mark.

We don’t know about you, but that sounds like a lot of money to indulge one’s vanity. And vanity is the only reason we can think of why would anybody take a race car that is based on a much cheaper road car and then turn it into a road-going model again. The conversion on this black beast is done by Lanzante Motorsport in the UK, and while these folks have done a great job the GTR is still a wild racer at heart with a terrible ride, no amenities to speak of, and not even proper space inside to move about.

But hey, it looks cool and I guess that is enough of a reason for someone with more money than sense to crave the legalized GTR.
