In order to put in perspective where the technology in the new Porsche Panamera Hybrid comes from, the German automaker has gone to a lot of trouble shooting a commercial starring the star race car, the Porsche 919 LMP1. The reason it was troublesome was because they took the racing car straight through London in the rush hour!
Porsche 919 LMP1 needed a huge crew and a couple of vans to keep it working on the street and stop it from bursting into flames because of running too hot at low speed. But it’s all been worth it because Porsche’s E-mobility family is here to stay and showing people that it uses technology from a racing car warms the heart of Porsche purists everywhere. Oh, and by the way, that is Mark Webber driving the 919.
