Ford’s Interceptor police cars are doing greats, winning awards left and right in America. But the lineup only includes a sedan and a utility vehicle and no sports car, which is a shame, because as you can see here the Shelby GT350R would made an excellent police car for those high speed chases.

This Shelby GT350R police interceptor isn’t a real cruiser. It’s a custom car made by someone who is obviously a huge of Ford Interceptor cars, and he’s done a fairly remarkable job:

The enthusiasm that’s gone into building this Shelby GT350R police interceptor is so great that you would forgive the guy how lame he looks sitting in that queue with his siren on and lights flashing. He no doubt looks like a massive dork doing this, but that doesn’t take away from the good job he’s done preparing the car.
