In an effort to enhance the visual appeal of their entry-level Sports Series model, McLaren Automotive announced the launch of five special McLaren 570S Design Editions with unique trims and colors. The treatment is a £8,500 option package which costs a lot because it adds a lot.

The main highlights of McLaren 570S Design Editions, each of which is of course further customizable by the customer, include different finishes and materials such as the highest quality Alcantara and Nappa leather as well exclusive paint works, wheel style and finish, exhaust style, and calliper colour, all designed to match whatever interior design the car is equipped with.

To gives us an idea how one of these McLaren 570S Design Editions look like the company has details the Edition 1, which comes with Vermillion Red body color, five-spoke wheels and diamond-cut finish, Stealth exhaust and red brake calipers, plus Carbon Black Alcantara and Apex Red Nappa leather seats, Jet Black Nappa leather upper facia, Apex Red Nappa leather lower facia, Slate Grey contrasting stitching, a dual colour co-ordinated steering wheel and a McLaren branded leather sill finisher.

So as you see you get a lot for your money. While the interior trim combos are almost limitless, the choice of exterior paint for these models is limited to Vermillion Red, Storm Grey, Ventura Orange, and Silica White.
