Mercedes-AMG has dropped one of the coolest promo videos they have ever created, featuring all of their 2016modelyear vehicles in one clip in which they get to sing their sweet AMG song. The unique and throaty exhaust note of an AMG has always been one of the major factors for people buying them, and it’s good to see that downsizing and turbocharging hasn’t affected that one bit.

If anything, AMG cars sound better now than they did when the displacement of a typical AMG engine stood at 6.2 liter and the induction wasn’t forced. Sure, that sound was more brutal, but the new range of powertrains – including the 2.0 liter turbo, the 3.0 liter turbo V6, 5.5 liter bi-turbo and 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8s – make a nicer, more sophisticated soundtrack. That said, our favorite AMG sound will forever remain the angry baritone of the old SL55 AMG and its supercharged 5.5 liter V8. Hopefully they can replicate it in their 2017 range.

Besides giving you a good eargasm, this video is also helpful if you’re trying to figure out which AMG model to buy. Just go for the one whose exhaust note you find more soothing.
