Porsche 993 RS Clubsport on Sale for £400K

Porsche 993 RS Clubsport sale 0 600x371 at Porsche 993 RS Clubsport on Sale for £400K

The boys at Hexagon Classics have yet another rare piece of automotive treasure to offer you, providing you write them a fat enough check. The car in question this time is a rare and highly desirable 1995 Porsche 993 RS Clubsport, left-hand-drive with 34,700 miles on the clock, and they are asking the princely sum of £399,995 for it.

While Porsche 993 RS Clubsport is still too young to be considered a full on classic car, it is rare enough and vintage-looking enough to beat least called a collectible. Porsche made in total 1,014 examples of the RS 993, of which only 227 were Clubsport. So on rarity alone this car can easily justify its dear, dear price tag.

As for what makes a Porsche 993 RS Clubsport so special in terms of features, the list begins with a 3.8 liter 300 horsepower engine, Speed Yellow with three-piece 18-inch ‘Speedline’ aluminium wheels, black leather interior, painted roll cage and matching seatbacks. As with all RS Porsches the car did not come with rear seats, carpets, radio and power windows, although later on one owner added the radio and air conditioning back to make the car more usable on the road.

Hexagon Classics Chairman Paul Michaels said: “The 911 RS models are the pinnacle of performance, and extremely sought-after by those in the know. This 993 Clubsport is an evolution of everything that RS stands for; more focused, more thrilling and more of the very essence of the Porsche 911. We’re privileged to have such a low-mileage example in stock, and there’s no doubting it could make quite the Christmas present for Porsche 911 collectors.”
