The BAC Mono Police Car provided by the Liverpool-based car maker to the Isle of Man government is a publicity stunt, and it cerebrates British innovation and engineering. Not everything has to have a practical use, you know. 

It is actually rather fitting that BAC should gift one of their cars to Isle of Man since the brand has a close relationship with the island. The superb driving roads up there are perfect for fine-tuning the Mono and they take good advantage of the island’s authorities’ tolerant attitude toward speeding as well. What’s more, BAC hosts annual Mono Experience Weekends on the island with its clients and friends and a BAC Mono Police Car would be a great addition to the convey they take there.
