Renault Sport revealed today another delicious piece of information about the upcoming 2018 Renault Megane RS hot hatch and even gave us a glimpse of the design. The new RS is the first Renault, and the first hot hatchback, to get four-wheel steering.
Renault calls this system 4Control and it offers enhanced agility, cornering performance and steering precision by enabling the car’s rear wheels to assist in steering by means of an electromagnetic actuator mounted on the rear axle. The 2018 Renault Megane RS will also offer a choice of Sport or Cup chassis, and manual or dual-clutch transmission. So whatever your inclination, this hot hatch will probably be able to satisfy your needs.

In terms of design, though shown here in camo dress, 2018 Renault Megane RS seems positively sporty but just a tad on the fat side.Hopefully it is only the looks and doesn’t mean the car is actually that heavy. You can also see the design of the head and taillights, and though we’re digging those cool RS LEDs up front, the rear lights make the whole thing look like a baby Koleos. The new Megane RS will make its debut at the IAA in September but we will definitely get a good look at it long before that.
