The name Riva is a well-known and well-loved one among those with a penchant for luxury yachting. The Italian brand has been making the most exquisite boats for the past 175 years. Obviously that’s something other Italian brands want to celebrate and Fiat is doing just that with Abarth 695 Rivale.
The new limited edition tries to bring some of the grace and elegance of Riva boats to the world of cars with special exterior and interior appointments. The Abarth 695 Rivale, which comes in both hardtop and cabriolet body styles, is set apart from regular models by two-tone Riva Sera Blue and Shark Grey paintwork, plus aquamarine double stripe that runs at waistline height, resembling the “beauty line” on yachts. Other exterior highlights include satin chrome finish on the door handles, the “695 Rivale” name on the tailgate and rear bumpers, and the satin chrome moulding on the tailgate.
