As it turned out that odd looking Honda which we had spyshots of last week and called it Accord hatchback, is caught again in Tennessee and its real name is the Accord Crosstour! We have no idea what that means, probably it’s a Crossover Tourer or CUV!, but it seems to be a direct rival for BMW 5-series Gran Tourismo.

This new Accord variant will be built in the Sates next year and apart from the shape, it’s almost the same as the sedan version. And the choice of engines for this Crosstour would be pretty similar to the range Acura currently use. It’s very likely that the Crosstour features a sophisticated AWD system since it’s supposed to be a ‘Sport Activity’ vehicle. We can think of some other cars to compete with this Honda such as Toyota Venza, Citroen C4 Picasso or even Mercedes R-Class.
