German supercar Gumpert is hugely fast, but it’s always suffered fro being very ugly! That apparently is going to be all changed as the company announced a second model to be unveiled at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show called the Gumpert Tornante by Touring Superleggera.

Gumpert Tornante is a 2-seater Fast Tourer based on a new central engine chassis and V8-powered driveline. The guys who has made the previous Gumperts admit that even though they’re amazing with technicalities and can create super fast cars, they’re not very good when it comes to style and elegance!

So they asked the Milanese studio to create and elegant design which is also spacious and comfortable. So Gumpert is clearly aiming at the more sophisticated supercars with the Tornante and seeks a whole new market the Apollo could never reach.

With the Italian design on top and German engineering including composite body panels on a space frame with carbon fiber monocoque plus a weapons-grade V8 that ensures the car is fast underneath it, the Gumpert Tornante sounds like a delicious recipe.
