As an Eminem fan I’d like to see him promoting a finer car than Chrysler 200 – Chrysler 300 would be good – but still this ad he did for them is really strong. Chrysler had used Eminem’s lyrics before at the Detroit Motor Show to get the message of their determination to do better delivered, so for the Super Bowl commercial they had to hook up the local artist to nail it. Marshall Mathers cares about his hometown Detroit and has shown it before with his “Beautiful” music video. This ad is shot in the same sort of way, but they play “Lose Yourself” melody all the way which is awesome. That beat is still moving nine years on, I couldn’t but mosh with it!

We also included Eminem’s Brisk spot after the jump, it’s not car related but as far commercial goes it’s so cool. They’ve paid Em $1 million for this!
