An upgraded version of Honda Insight Hybrid will be unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, featuring a mild facelift and lowered CO2 emission.
The 2012 Insight has a more efficient powertrain and also benefits form some aerodynamic tweaks. The car’s Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), cooling system and air condition have also been upgraded. As a result the car now emits just 96 g/km of CO2.
Styling changes include a new front grille, rear spoiler and rear tailgate for better visibility. Other enhancements include uprated suspension for better ride quality and comfort, and a better trimmed interior.
Not sure if the new upgrades will convince many people to buy this over a Prius, but here we are.
