Honda Civic Type R Rendered in Production Guise

Honda still wants to play hide and seek when it comes to the new Civic Type R. The car is virtually ready, but at the upcoming Paris Motor Show they will only show us another concept version of it. Granted, it is very close to the final version, but not quite there yet.

That is where this rendering comes in, trying to show us what the new 2015 Honda Civic Type R would look like in production trim, and, by the looks of things, in an extremely brash color.

Now this color may not be to every one’s taste, but Type R is a hatchback, and a very hot one at that, so it kinda works. It also goes well with the car’s standard visual features like the front splitter or the giant rear wing.

Honda Civic Type R will come with a new turbocharged four-banger with at least 280 horsepower. Chances are the finished product will boast over 300 hp, which makes it one of the most powerful, and potentially the fastest, front wheel drive in the world. The car also benefits from advanced suspension and chassis technologies like adaptive damping.
