Back in April an American car firm called Trion Supercars released what appeared to be, to all intents and purposes, a wish list. The list painted the picture of a supercar called Trion Nemesis with very fancy looks, a 2000bhp powertrain, and a Veyron SS-rivaling top speed. Now they say they are actually going to build this thing!

We won’t believe it until we see it, but if these guys are onto something, their Trion Nemesis is a giant slayer, beating the likes of Bugatti Veyron SS and Koenigsegg Agera 1:1 as well as all the latest hyper cars.

What Trion is proposing for the Nemesis a twin-turbo 9.0 liter V8 engine with, as mentioned, 2000 horsepower, a lightweight carbon fiber body, an eight-speed sequential gearbox, and all-wheel-drive. That is the recipe for a super fast super car, but honestly if pulling it off was that simple all car makers would have a 270 mph car in their range by now. Trion says their car can also do 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds.

Trion Nemesis is being readied for production in early 2016. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and wait and see if they can make it happen.
