The UAE branch of German tuner PP-Performance was lucky enough to be tapped as the official supply and support company for Fast & Furious 7 scenes shot in Abu Dhabi. Now that the film has been released, and already earned $1 billion for the studio, they are at liberty to release some of the pictures they took while working with the F&F crew.
PP-Performance provided the actors with the exotic cars they drove in the aforementioned scenes, and were also at hand for when things, inevitably, went wrong.
They tell us about an incident in which stunt drivers caused a Bugatti Veyron to go “out of service” because they hadn’t worked with this type of vehicle before. PP-P also worked on a black Viper for Michelle Rodriguez, a yellow Ferrari 458 for Ludacris, and a matte black Lamborghini Aventador for Jason Statham. They were also responsible for tinting the windows of all the cars, so stunt drivers could work freely behind the wheel without makeup.
