The standard Corvette Zo6 C7 is pitched as the road-going version of the C7.R racing car. But apparently that is not “hot” enough for some people, which is why Chevy felt the need to launch the Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition with 650 horsepower, more aggressive aero, and a more precise chassis.

The ultra-high-performance Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition comes with the Z07 Performance Package which includes Brembo carbon ceramic-matrix brake rotors and adjustable front and rear aero components, as well as Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires. All that means is the car can make better use of its immense power and even quicker than before.

But the C7.R is not all about speed and performance. The car is also supposed to be a more special version of the Z06, hence the use of styling elements such as visible carbon fiber elements, yellow brake calipers, Spectra Gray Metallic vents and grilles, Jet Black leather interior with sueded microfiber accents, yellow stitching, and carbon fiber interior trim. The only available colors for this model include black and Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat.

In terms of convenience features, Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition comes with front curb view parking camera, MyLink connectivity enhancements with smartphone projection technology, power-cinching hatch/trunk latch, and new available design packages. The coolest feature of this model, however, is the numbered C7.R Edition interior plaque.
