Broadening the appeal of their mid-size 3008 crossover by exactly a little bit, Peugeot announced the launch of semi-hot GT version. Dubbed, well, Peugeot 3008 GT, this model comes with a potent diesel engine, exclusive exterior and interior appointments, and extra features.

On the styling front, Peugeot 3008 GT boasts a set of 19” ‘Boston’ matt Haria two-tone finish diamond-cut alloy wheels which actually look cool enough to warrant such a pompous title, plus integrated wheel arch protective extensions.

Inside the cabin the main highlights, besides the natural beauty of the i-Cockpit with its 12.3 inch display, include full grain Nappa Mistral leather with Aikinite copper double-stitch trim detail, driver seat multipoint massage function, electric adjustment and memory, panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.

As for the power and performance, the 2017 Peugeot 3008 GT packs a 180 horsepower 2.0-litre BlueHDi diesel coupled with an EAT6 (Efficient Automatic Transmission six-speed) gearbox. You also get ACC Stop (Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop function) and mart electric tailgate (includes foot movement operation) with PEUGEOT Open and Go system as standard.

The 3008 is also available with a GT-line trim grade, the highlights of which include LED headlamps, smartphone charging plate, 3D satellite navigation from TomTom, and a Safety Pack consisting of ‘Active Blind Spot Detection’ (ABSD), ‘Lane Keeping Assistance’ (LKA), advanced ‘Driver Attention Alert’ system (DAA3) and PEUGEOT ‘Smartbeam Assistance’.
