Those planning to buy a 2017 Ram 1500 truck will be glad to know they will have the choice of spicing up their pickup with two really special option packages. The first one is the Rebel Mojave Sand package priced at $595, and the second is the limited-edition Ignition Orange package priced at $1,595, making a comeback for the new modelyear.

If we cut to the chase, the 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand package includes a black-decaled performance hood and a new, unique fully black interior with black anodized bezels on the doors, center console, instrument panel and gauge cluster trim rings as well as black embroidery on the seats, Light Slate Gray accent stitching on the instrument panel, center console lid, doors and seats, and deep rubber floor mats.

As for the Ram 1500 Ignition Orange, this one has a little more substance, featuring monochromatic exterior hue with body-color grille, Sport performance hood with black decals, black Ram’s head grille badge, black tailgate badge and black body-side badges. Inside, the Ignition gets “Copperhead” accent stitching throughout the cabin, Sport embroidery on the seats, accent-color Ram’s head embroidery on the headrests and colored-accent sport mesh on the seat inserts, as well as Anodized Orange-painted spears and trim rings.

The Mojave Sand Ram 1500 will start arriving in dealerships in December 2016 priced at $45,590 plus $1,320 destination, while the Ignition Orange is currently available only on Crew Cab V-8 models with a sticker price of $43,740 plus $1,320 destination. Both models are limited to 1,500 units.
