The Camaro will be offered with 3.6L V-6 engine that is standard on the LT model. It is rated at an estimated 323 hp @ 6600 rpm and 380 Nm @ 5200 rpm of torque. The high performance SS model is powered by a higher output 6.2L V8 pumping out an estimated at 462 hp @ 6400 rpm and 609 Nm @ 4800 rpm of torque. Both the 3.6L V-6 and the 6.2L V-8 engines can be equipped with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
