Porsche Panamera itself still awaits market launch, yet there are too many rumors about different variants based on the car. A while ago we had the 928 resurrection and now comes this, the Panamera Cabrio! As mentioned earlier, developing Panamera’s platform has been so costly for Porsche, so they try to make the most of it by making different models upon it.

Based on this rendering published by Auto motor Sport magazine, it definitely won’t be a four-door cabrio! and almost certainly will use a canvas roof rather than a folding metal one. The car slots above the 911 cabrio and can be classified in the same category as BMW M6 Cabrio or Aston Martin DB9 Volante, this sort of ultra lux high performance coupe cabrios. And as for engine, it is not likely that Porsche will revolutionize its engine range anytime soon, so the current ones will power the cabrio as well. Honestly it is very hard to talk more about it now! but we’ll keep you posted when more details emerged.
