Looks like British sportscar makers are enjoying good days despite the recession! Recently Lotus announced they’re gonna increase production volume because of high demand for the Evora, and now Caterham too says that they have to ramp up production to keep up with increasing demand. Good for them!
They will increase 2009 productions by 10 percent up to 420 units and will also hire additional workforce to make sure all booked Caterhams will be delivered on time. The British firm has appointed new partners in Germany, Italy, France and Japan. Sportscar popularity has gone up in the UK and Europe in recent years, maybe because they are an affordable way to enjoy supercar performance for family car money!
