The Brits appreciate hot hatchbacks, that’s why car makers tend to make special editions for them! Here’s another one, the Renault Megane 250 by Renaultsport which will go on sale exclusively in UK from this November. 250 refers to the number of horses you get fro the car’s 2.0 liter twin turbo engine, which also develops around 350 nm of torque available from very low rpm. To put it in plain English, it means that the car is quit agile!

Renault offers the Megane 250 with two different chassis setting, the Sport setting for everyday driving and the Cup for more exhilarating performance, or track use as they point out. You also get the PerfoHub steering system, which seprates the steering and suspension components so each one acts independently and the result is better handling and traction. Sounds boring, doesn’t it?!

Megane 250 also sports some distinguishing visual factors derived from the world of motorsport. For example the front bumper which has the a blade thing acting as a racing splitter or extended wheel arches, side sill, rear diffuser, extended tailgate spoiler and centrally-positioned exhaust tailpipe.

Inside Renault Megane 250 promises to be sporty and comfi at the same time thanks to features like height-adjustable front seats with additional lateral support or optional Recaro seats,height- and reach-adjustable Renaultsport steering wheel, aluminium pedal covers and… It is also well equipped with stuff like automatic dual-zone climate control, a hands-free card with automatic door locking as the card-holder walks away from the vehicle, the high-end 3D Sound by Arkamys and a choice of two navigation systems.
