As part of their marketing strategy, Renault  is reviving the Gordini name, which used to be on sporty Renaults of 1950s. And the first car to be honored with this badge is a special edition of Twingo RS called, obviously, RS Gordini! The car comes with some unique features for the exterior as well as the interior, but there is no performance upgrade whatsoever.

Traditionally, Gordini Renaults are recognized by the the special paint job which is a gleaming Malte Blue with metallic finish plus two white racing stripes. The front and rear bumpers are enhanced by gloss black details, while the foglamp surrounds, exterior mirror housings and lip spoiler are all picked out in a contrasting white finish. We think it looks quit cool!

New interior features include Renault Sport seats with extra lateral support, plus blue and black quilted, Gordini-badged leather upholstery, blue leather door panel inserts, blue and black leather steering wheel with two white stripes to indicate the centre point, blue gearlever bellows and Gordini-badged gearlever knob, blue rev-counter with white surround, and trimmed dashboard cowl with visible stitching.

As mentioned earlier, the car is based on a Twingo RenaultSport model which is powered by a 1.6 liter 133hp petrol engine and comes with a number nice features itself including ‘Sport’ chassis with 17-inch wheels for outstanding road-holding performance that is equally suited to everyday motoring, precise, incisive steering for even greater fun at the wheel, and powerful, durable braking performance.
