After reviving the Gordini badge, Renault is also resurrecting the “S” line products with the new Clio S, to make it even more appealing to the young buyers. Just like the models of early 90s, the characteristic of the new Clio S is 16-inch ‘Polar’ alloy wheels. It is also garnished with white stripes on the sides and roof with S lettering, a white spoiler lip in the front bumper and a white GT rear spoiler.
The interior of the Clio S is also upgraded using the same theme. It comes with a bespoke interior including ‘S’ embossed upholstery, leather steering wheel and striking white centre console, dashboard inserts and instrument dials.
Although Renault calls the Clio S a hot hatchback, but there’s no performance upgrade offered with the package.The choice of engines for this car includes the 1.2 16V 75hp, 1.2 TCe 100hp and ultra fuel efficient 1.5 dCi 86hp diesel.
The car comes in four different colors for the exterior including Glacier White, Pearl Black, Capsicum Red and Extreme Blue. Pricing starts at £11,209 on-the-road for the 1.2 16V 75, and £13,458 for the 1.5 dCi 86.
